Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island is such an amazing place to get married! It’s like going to another world, so peaceful and so much gorgeous native flora & fauna. Meg & Sam chose this gorgeous place and although the weather was a little damp, they had so much fun celebrating their special day. John Borg performed a lovely ceremony which was followed by a short photo shoot down by the ocean. They shared their wedding day with only the closest of their families which made it a lovely, intimate affair. The staff at Kingfisher Bay Resort were also so helpful and friendly, which truly added to the overall experience of the day. Congratulations Sam & Meg!
What could be better than a private island wedding, shared with family & friends? That’s how Shannyn & Malcolm decided to celebrate their wedding day and you’ll all agree that it’s a fantastic plan! The Noosa Queen collected the guests to transport them out to the Noosa Sand Island while the bride arrived in style on the stunning Noosa Dreamboat. Natalie Banner presented an absolutely gorgeous ceremony as well as doing the ceremony decorations. The ceremony was then followed by a river cruise for the guests back on the Noosa Queen while the couple and I stayed back for some beautiful photos in complete privacy. We then cruised over to stop over at the couple’s amazing tapa’s bar Flux to share a celebratory shot with their staff before joining their guests at Rock Salt in Noosa Sound for the reception. These two were so relaxed and it was such a pleasure to be able to capture their wedding day for them. One of my favourite things would have to be those stunning flowers by The White Magnolia! Shannyn had her makeup done by Luv Struck Lashes. Congratulations guys!
This has to be one of the most fun couples I’ve ever photographed! Emma & her stunning bridesmaid had their hair styled by a friend & had TF Makeup Artistry for their makeup. Don’t you just love Emma’s amazing dress! The bridal party were travelling in style with the Deluxe Kombi Service who are so much fun to have on your day! Due to wet weather, they had their ceremony in the lovely Berardos Restaurant & Bar performed by Stephanie Neal. The sound of a beautiful string quartet was the backdrop for the ceremony, played by the beautiful 16 Strings group. The ceremony was followed by a beach photo session including cruising down hasting st in the Kombi! We then headed onto their reception at Berardos Bistro before finishing off the photos with the amazing Hastings St lights.
Another gorgeous and relaxed Noosa wedding. Andrew & Thaise chose to have an absolutely private wedding by traveling out to the Noosa Sand Island for their wedding. The Noosa Cruising Restaurant picked the guests up from Noosa Woods before taking them out to this exclusive location. The bride & bridesmaids then arrive in style via the Noosa Gondola and the ceremony commenced. Faye Murphy presided over the formalities and after the ceremony guests were then welcomed back onto the boat which had been transformed into a wedding reception ready room with tables & chairs, fully decorated. Thaise was earlier pampered by Hair 4 Brides & Makeup 4 Brides who also took care of the bridesmaids. All in all a wonderful day in a truly special location!
This has to be one of my favourite weddings this year. Nicole & Gavin were married by Stephanie Neal in a stunning beach side location. Following the ceremony, guests relaxed with some drinks and family photos commenced. We then escaped to the beach for some intimate family photos with Nicole’s children, followed by a private photo session of just the bride & groom. Nicole & Gavin are such a casual, relaxed couple, it shows through in every way. First Class Functions was responsible for making this stunning wedding come to life from Nicole & Gavin’s vision of their day. All the decorations, flowers & catering were done by them and they are responsible for their absolutely stunning private house reception. One of the most amazing locations for a reception I have ever seen. Nicole’s Hair & Makeup was by Debb from Beauty on the Move.
